Many weeks have pasted since I last posted. It has been full of wonderful times, sad times, and …movies! Ratatouille…Transformers…Harry Potter…Hairspray! Great stuff! AND I FINALLY MET JASON!!!!!!(BTW I love him and Ellen has my permission and blessing to continue seeing him;-))But the story I really wanted to tell happened just this past week. Thursday to be exact. My posse and I went to eat by Midway mall which is rather close to LCCC. We had never ventured over there for lunch and it was fun. On the way back to school, we past a Party Place shop. Naturally we couldn’t resist and went in for fun. Dave thought we should all get clown noses to wear to our last class of the day. After we located the noses though we got sidetracked and played with everything we saw. It was a blast! Then (*insert crescendo in music*) I saw practically a wall of colored hairsprays in an array of colors I’m sure some have yet to be named by humans. There has always been this running joke that I should be all punky and dye my hair pink so…I bought a can. Myself and a couple of the boys dyed our hair this bubble gum pink for the rest of the day. It was too funny! Man I’ve had a slow summer if this is what I do for excitement…
Then this past Saturday I hooked up with some new buddies and went to the Medieval Faire in Geneva. The place was huge, the music fun, and the shows silly! What more could you ask for (*you think to yourself*)? REAL LIFE JOUSTING! It was just like A Knight’s Tale. Sadly neither of the knights I was rooting for won but I was still excited. Plus, we passed a game booth that was entitled “Bump a Monk”! Every time I saw that I envisioned myself dancing next to a friar and bumping posteriors (fancy word for butt). LOL!
Finally I end with a tale of suspense…we lost Mazey! Before you freak, know that she is now safe and sound at home. We aren’t sure how it happened but it was sometime Saturday night to Sunday morning. I knew something was wrong because Mazey had been waking me up to feed her the last week because my mom has been gone. Then I couldn’t find her anywhere before church. I was so upset. I figured she was either dead in the house or lost outside. Sure enough, when I got home I found her under our back deck. I called her name just once and she came running to me crying. It was so cute! She had cobwebs and leaves all over her face and she was wet from the rain. She looked so pathetic. She practically lept into my arms and begged to go inside. Of course Mazey had muddy paws and after I took her inside it looked like some animal had run me over. There were perfect paw prints that looked like they walked across my stomach to my shoulder. The couldn’t be any more perfect if someone had painted them. Haha! Since then she has been especially loving and obedient. She also thinks twice when there is a door leading to the outside world. I think she prefers pillows and treats to wet leaves…

Well, that answers my question- I’m glad you found her!!! My older cat Bailey hates the outdoors since he practically starved to death as a stray, but my youngest Dylan used to try to dart out. He’s better about it now. I’d be frantic if either of them were ever lost or loose!
Did you get pictures with the pink hair? When I came back to Oswald I had magenta streaks in mine… I’ve since toned down, and now I’m just a brown with some dark plum red highlights. I must be getting old!
