Chivalry is not dead!

So my Chinese friend, Sheng, is such a gentleman. I happened to tell him that I had to go and buy my logic book. He asked me what book it was. I told him it was the one with 3 floating rocks on it. He said that he used it last semester for his class and he would be happy to let me borrow it. HE SAVED ME ABOUT 90 DOLLARS! ISN’T HE SUPER?

As an aside, I saw High School Musical tonight. It was cute but certainly not worth the hubbub that everyone made over it. I still vote for Sky High as the best high school themed movie.

College books were always ridiculously expensive… I got burned once by selling one back, and then I ended up needing it a couple years later for another course (it was a literature book). That sucked!

I was wondering what the big deal was about HSM… After what you said, I’m not overly moved to check it out. I hate when movies are over-hyped!

of course, SKY HIGH can never be over-hyped! i remember when i talked it up so much all of last year, and then i made people actually watch it, and they were totally blown away! it’s become quite the hit here at miami. i’m so glad me you and emma went on a whim to go see it!

My dearest Piper I am SHOCKED that you didn’t find HSM so completely fabulous!!!!! I absolutely LOOOOOOVE it and think it is DEFINITELY worth all the hype. Granted, it is a Disney Channel movie, so you have to take that into consideration whilst watching, but I think it is definitely worth all the hourse spent watching it over and over again as well as listening to the soundtrack.

Whoa there nelly! You sound like all the little teeny boppers I overheard raving about the film. :-)

Well we all know that I am half woman half child. Perhaps that evens out to being a teeny bopper? Except I’m way cooler
