Cause I’m Leavin’ On A Jet Plane…

Actually that is incorrect. I’m leaving in a Buick LaSabre but it didn’t sound as good. Next Sunday my family and I are off to Branson, MO for a week of great FFTT with my dad’s side of the family. Then we mosie(mosey?) on down to Arkansas to visit mom’s side. As many of my fans know, both sides of the family live in Arkansas. My dad’s sister thought it would be fun to have a get together in Branson. We are going to see a ton of shows and go to the best theme park! Silver Dollar City! Man its gonna be fun.

Now some interesting news…my mother fell down the stairs Sunday afternoon. Don’t worry she is doing well. I don’t even think she has a bruise. She even managed to hobble around in the kitchen to make herself a martini. I’m pretty sure that means she will live.

Now back to me…I gave blood two weeks ago and I still have a bruise. I have never been bruised by blood letting before so it was strange. What was even stranger was that I thought the girl did a really good job! I have had nightmarish experiences with giving blood in the past yet never got a bruise! Weird huh?

It’s Monday!

So it’s Monday and my weekend was good. Dad was on a conference trip in Columbus so Mom and I had a girly night. We saw Keeping Up with the Steins, which is about a BarMitzvah. We didn’t expect too many people to be in there but when we turned the corner into the theater it was full of old jewishy look schmucks! Mom and I laughed so hard right there in the aisle! After the movie, I ran over to Messiah to deliver Dione’s long awaited B-day gift. I had to get it to her before this weekend so that she could wear it to the Rascal Flatts concert because it was a Rascal Flatts shirt! I hope she enjoyed the shirt… more importantly I hope she and Emma had a good time at the concert. Then on Saturday Mike and I saw Cars, which I believe is better than Over the Hedge. Sunday, I book (shook is the past tense of shake therefore book should be the past tense of bake right? ☺) a ton of cookies. My Mom bought dough from our next door neighbor because she goes to Bay Village High and this was a fundraiser for cheerleading…I think. I got really into it and sprinkled cinnamon and sugar on the snickerdoodles so that they would be extra fancy. But, the downside is I burned myself. There you have it…

This Weekend’s Recap of Last Weekend

So I love that I’m just now commenting on last weekend. It was wonderful! I saw Over the Hedge with a tall, dark handsome man known to mere mortals as Mike. Then Dione and Peter surprised me at my house and was soon whisked away to meet up with Emma and Ellen at X-Men 3: The Last Stand. Man it was fun!
I also received a letter congratulating me on being awarded the FULL SCHOLARSHIP to my CSE program! That was such a blessing and will help greatly in the years to come.
Finally, for this all occured on the same day, I bought the McFly CD. I love it! It is so much fun!
