So from last Thursday to today (7 days hence magnificent 7) I had a nice relaxing break from work and school. During the respite, 4 lovely things happened…
1. I got my grades for this past semester and did well! I got an A in History, English, and Critical Thinking and received a B in my much dreaded Calculus! So that was all very encouraging.
2. My parents up and got cable! How weird is that! Now I can watch all my nerdy educational programming on the discovery and history channels. So if I don’t update in a while please come to my house and turn my tv off because I will probably be a vegetable.
3. My darling boyfriend and I went to Cedar Point on Tuesday and had a grand time! We saw Dave Baily and Casey M. from afar and decided it best to avoid them. For Dave would probably hang out with us and talk the whole time and Casey would be giving me glaring looks and call me “unchristian” for one thing or another. Thus we kept our distance but not at the expense of enjoying ourselves.
4. Taylor won American Idol! Hooray!
All in all it was a good time! Now I must return to work. Piper…OUT! (sorry I was having an idol moment)

I don’t think there is anything else to say because this is truly earth shaking. Now, I shall depart and let the gravity of the situation sink in.

One day after school (which is like 9:30) Tim, Evan, and Michelle were going to a movie at Cobblestone because it is right across the street from LCCC. Tim has connections and gets tickets for free. They wanted me to go and I decided what the hay! Could be fun! Only I knew that work wasn’t going to be fun the next day. Well I was the first one there and Michelle drove up, rolled down her window, and said that she was bailing. She had this paper to do and had to go home. So it turned out to be a cozy date with Tim and Evan. Tim is a sweetheart and a hardworker. He is only 18 or 19 but looks like he could be in his late twenties. He is kinda stocky and kinda tough hispanicky looking. So he looks like a “bad-ass”. But he couldn’t be farther from it. He is so easy to get along with and you can tell that he just enjoys meeting new people and making friends. Evan is 19 and a ragamuffin. He is actually rather clever which makes it so disappointing when he shows off his intellect in an annoying way. He has a crush on our Calc teacher and says rather crude and embarrassing things. I don’t know how I put up with him. He does have hair that would make any girl jealous though. Anywho… we were originally going to see Silent Hill but when we got into the hallway and saw all the other movies we ended up rethinking our choice. So we finally found ourselves in Ice Age 2. There was no one in the theater and I thought that it would be funny if we all sat in different places. Of couse then we would have to yell to each other. While we were waiting for our feature presentation, we saw a preview for The Wild which was showing only a few doors down. So we ran over there and it was already a couple of minutes into it and we wanted to see the whole thing. We glumly walked back to Ice Age and had a grand old time.
Ice Age was cute but I must admit that I got kinda hazy in the middle because it was late and Tim and Evan kept talking. If any of you were wondering…of course I got this cleared with Mike first because we are definetely still great! In fact Evan and Tim found it amusing that he didn’t care that I went with them. I told them that I was a trustworthy person and my boyfriend has complete faith in me. They almost didn’t believe that any girl could simply be honest. It is rather sad in a way…but maybe now they know that there are good girls out there to date! Perhaps I should hook one of you guys up with Tim!!! Haha! Ok maybe not… but you have to admit we are some exceptional gals!
