I have Wednesdays off of work so Mother, Mike, and myself went to buy books for college. Alas the book I needed for an orientation course before school starts wasn’t in. That was the ONE book that I really needed. ARRRRGGHH! So now I have to go back to check on it. Not fun! But on the upside my mom took us for milkshakes. Hooray! Everything gets better with desserts.
Oh on another interesting note…we got a new car. Well, I shouldn’t say new. It’s a 99 LaSabre. It is such an old lady car. It’s hilarious. But, my mom is happy and my dad has finally squelched his desire for another car. Yet I fear we may be retiring another car in which case we are down to 2 and I Piper the Great am left carless. Currently I’m driving Old Blue.(moms old car) So I’m excited that I officially have a car to kinda call my own.
I’m tired of summer. This morning was gorgeous with a slight chill and it made me miss Fall. Luckily, Fall isn’t too far away. Let’s face it…I look good in a sweater and I’d look silly wearing them in summer.
